About

Paul Galyer a self taught artist was first bitten by the bug at 5 years of age but didnt have the patience to use paint until he was about 13 and so was prompted by his teacher at school. Paul has exibited localy taking part in group shows as well as a number of solo exhibitions, at the heritage center and Urban artspace. Also at Art beat in Alford and The ropewalk in Barton.

His work ranges from photo realism to abstract, and from surreal to expressionist. Having been self taught and self led life long his work continues to take its own direction (namely what ever interests him at the time and according to his own tastes), rather than being aimed at any particular audience or market.

The work viewable within this site dates from 1994 (the artists early twenties) to present and is by no means exhaustive but is a fair representation of the general flavour.
